Apple fans in India who have been waiting to buy the "cheaper" iPhone 5C can rejoice as the price of the smartphone has come down by Rs 5000. The 16GB iPhone 5c which cost Rs 41,900 is now available for just Rs 36,899 on Amazon.in. May be the price of this device has been deducted due to the lack of sale, as reported by Tech Desk.
The iPhone 5c will be offered throughout the nation for the same rate. Yellow and blue color 16GB iPhones are being rated at Rs 36,999 and Rs 36,899 respectively in some of the online sites. But the prices of pink, white and green iPhones are slightly higher each cost Rs 39,500.
In the emerging Indian market iPhone 5s could win every ones attention than the 5c model could do. The iPhone 5c, which got 4 inch retina display, has been powered by the older Apple A6x chipset. Along with a FaceTime HD camera it has an 8MP rear facing camera too.
India had never been a focus for Apple, but due to the strong rivalry from the opponent company Samsung and lack of their product sale, the company has been selling the devices heavily. The recent news says Apple is going to re-launch the iPhone 4 in the emerging Indian market. To enhance their marketing, the company is seeking EMI schemes, carrier tie-ups, buyback and exchange offers for the new iPhones.
